Dr. Sasi Kiran Attili, MRCP(UK),
MRCP- Dermatology (UK),
International Dip. in Dermatopathology (ICDP,Frankfurt)

Dr. Sasi Kiran Attili is currently the only practicing Dermatologist in India who is also an Internationally certified/ qualified Dermatopathologist.

Dermatopathology is a subspecialty of dermatology that involves the examination of skin tissue to diagnose diseases. Having a dermatopathologist with dual accreditation, like Dr. Attili, can provide a more accurate diagnosis through clinico-pathological correlation.

For Dermatologists wishing to send skin biopsy specimens: The advantage of sending your cases to a dually accredited specialist is that instead of asking the referring dermatologist to correlate, the reporting dermatopathologist can in most cases make a definitive diagnosis on the basis of clinico-pathological correlation.
